ABOUT KAREN KLINE
After resigning from a brief legal position, Karen Kline transitioned into residential interiors in 1989, beginning her journey as a resource librarian at a world-renowned architectural firm in NYC. Her subsequent role as an associate real estate broker in Port Washington, NY, offered invaluable insight into how design, decor, and lifestyles intersect within the home.
In the late 1990s, after relocating to Croton-on-Hudson, NY, Karen managed a high-end furniture, rug, and lighting boutique in Scarsdale, NY. There, she honed her skills in customer and vendor relations, inventory purchasing, and showroom merchandising, all while consulting with retail customers and interior designers on home decor projects.
From 2012 to 2022, Karen specialized in custom window treatments, ultimately supporting the national sales team of a leading luxury retailer. This decade of focus deepened her expertise in crafting bespoke solutions on a concierge level.
Karen’s approach to design goes beyond aesthetics. She strives to create spaces that provide not only fiscal and physical value but also a sense of security, contentment, and optimism for her clients.
